heaven forbid the Bruins put in another smooth skating defenceman!! why is morrow in the press box AGAIN??? no reason we couldn't ice

Chara-C miller
Krug-Seidenberg
Morrow-K Miller

gives us some foot speed at all levels and shut down role at all levels... and keeps CJ relatively happy with his LH RH pairings (with the exception of Seids)

B's need a big win, keep morale up and get two very important points. preferably in regulation.....

ps... time to trade Loui....

Implications aside I just hope the Bruins can win this one. The winter classic was an embarrassment.

Therrien doesn't deserve to be fired at all. Bergevin does though.

The John Scott trade was probably icing on the cake I have to imagine. Was Tinordi really a failed prospect or did he need more time?

Tinordi for whatever reason rubbed Bergevin and Therrien the wrong way and they clearly had little use for him from day 1. maybe it was something behind the scenes because the only thing we know for certain is that he never got a fair look at the NHL level.

without Krejci bruins win only by two, 2 -0 . Time for habs to clean out coach and manager as they are heading for lottery pick this year

I have no vested interest in either party....

BUT

I dont think a loss to MTL will end Therrien's tenure. He will be able to lean on the no Price excuse for a bit.

Now, I do think there is more disfunction in that room than we are led to believe and this team doesnt seem to have the same, "je ne sais quoi" it had, even when Price was back briefly. I also question the lack of steps forwards that their youth has taken by comparison to other teams.

I will say that the Habs can expect a hungry, hungry Bs team -- but they have before and sucked them into their game, should be a great tilt tonight.

Lets drop the puck!

To me it came off like Tinordi and his father thought he was a top 4 D and everyone else thought he was a bottom 4 AHL D at this time. It was play him in MTL or he is going to whine about it non-stop. He wasn't going to clear waivers no matter what he has shown due to his size, so it was trade for a bag of pucks or get nothing.

It was Bettman behind it all. He orchastrated the trade to try and keep Scott out of the ASG. Every team's GM put their name in a hat and Montreal got picked to bare the burden.

Someone tell me C. Miller is sick and that's why he isn't playing. I know people like Morrow and want to see him play, but then sit Trotman. I don't like Trotman, I don't know why. Maybe cause he's ugly. I don't know. But I don't think C. Miller sitting.

And Pasta is back, which is good. But he's on the fourth line? And where is Ferraro?

Honestly, I have no idea who is showing up to play each night. Against Montreal, you need more speed. Sitting C. Miller and Ferraro? Does not make sense.

Nahh... they could sit Chara, since he's the biggest liability out there. Also, Ferraro is DTD with a lower body injury: https://twitter.com/Amali...status/689601791378456576

You and Chara

Although.......you did see his classic O-zone stick handling mistake on the blueline on the PP as well as a confusion and turnover play, that led to the only goal so far.

The team is inconsistent and he is in that group, good games followed by bad games........

Thank god for Rask, Bergy, Marchy, and spooner......Eriksson and krug should in that group too. Everyone else is a 50/50 shot at have a good game. (Beleskey is a hitting machine every game too)

Yeah, Krug definitely deserves to be there... I hope they can keep him because he's worth it. Same for Loui too. Chara just looks terrible... He's like a shut down defender in a 7 foot radius next to his net. Everywhere else he's the biggest liability the Bruins have. In any other situation, I would prefer to have any other d-man on the team out there. The young guys are playing pretty good and will only get better with time. How long can Chara play like this for? Seriously?

I actually thought he looked pretty good on the 4th line. Limited his minutes, but gave him some good match ups and less defensive responsibility. He had a nice wrap around goal.

I'm normally in the group that supports Chara, but he has absolutely no business being on the first power play unit. Honestly, I'm not sure he should be on the power play at all. That 1st PP unit is lethal, and this team has far better puck movers to replace Krejci while he's out.

I think in the third Morrow was on the first PP? I don't know if I agree with that either.

Should be Berg, March, Erik, Spoon, Krug. I don't know why it's been tampered with.

Second unit with Belesky Hayes Kempainnen Chara and Vatrano or Pasta.

Chara has the shot and the IQ to quarterback the PP. I don't think he is a bad choice on the 2nd unit
