If you are psychotic enough to name your kid after a hockey player, at least use a first name (or a last name that is a common enough first name). That way the kid can have his own identity. Malkin doesn't have any wiggle room.

Well if a hockey career doesn't work out for him, he can go by MC Long and he'll have a ready made rapper name.

They could've at least named him Sidney Malkin if they wanted to go that route.

Mom and Dad should start writing the excuse notes now for all the school days the kid will miss. He'll miss 3 days in a row, show up, ace a test, and his teachers will all say how much potential he has.

Then, sure enough, 3 more sick days the following week.
