I was hoping for NYR vs LAK in Yankee stadium last year or whatever the year NYR played at Yankee stadium OR LAK vs CHI at wrigley or soldier field but no it's an East Coast only teams (yes the Hawks are close enough to east coast)

Let him go to Florida. the central division is all ready tough enough. Nashville is already a very talented team with a great goalie. its just not fair if he goes to nashville. we already have the hawks and ads to deal with. the stars to a lesser degree even though they are loaded with talent.

i want to see a blues/hawks outdoor game. but i agree with you. what if at all kind of rivalry do the hawks and caps have??? they don't. its just talent on display. they want a 5-5 game with a shootout. its stupid and a dang gimmick

Don't watch. Send a message to the NHL they've run this once great idea into the ground. I'm a huge hockey fan and quite enjoyed the winter classic concept, but stale teams and host 6 outdoor games a year (last year) has lost its effect on me, as well as other. TheNHL is driving this down our throats because its a cash cow. Only us fans can say "enough" by not watching or not buying tickets. The Pensare my eam and they've been featured twice, but I'm totally on board with sharing the love.. Minnesota, Colorado, Montreal, Toronto all great potential host locations, but I have a feeling NBC has a lot of influence calling the shots on the teams.

I would be surprised if there was any takers for Vinny. There was probably limited interest due to his elephant contract BEFORE Berube decided to shelf him and kill any possible showcasing of this aging veteran.

He might end up somewhere at the deadline but Philly would have to take salary back or absorb a good portion of his salary.
