It's funny because they ended up dodging a bullet with Horton.

"We do, however, see a much-needed shakeup in the defense pairings. As I'd been hoping, Kevin Bieksa has been paired with Ryan Stanton, while the all-swiss tandem of Sbisa and Weber are reunited"

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I suppose there won't be much point watching the game.

Nuthin'. I think what we see is what we get, at least till after Christmas.

I wonder if the action will heat up around the league over the next couple of days...

The Swiss tandem will probably do better than the Swiss Cheese tandem....

People look at Jordan's size and they don't get him. Honestly, he can squat more [weight] than me, he lifts more than me—not in the bench press, but in everything else. He sprints better than me, he has a fire in him like you can't believe. He wants [to make it to the NHL] more than me and Malcolm, and believe me, me and Malcolm really want it. But Jordan is on another level.

Right on PK.

HAHAHA I love these clowns from the Boston Brass comparing Sequin to Kane in the finals.

"If sequin gives us half of what Patrick Kane did in the finals we win the stanley cup"

Kane had 5 points in the finals
Seguin had 4 points in the finals

This trade is turning out to be a NIGHTMARE for them.

How is Weber still not benched? Give Biega or Saguinetti a shot.

I was calling the other pairing the Swiss Cheese line because of how many holes are in Bieksa's defensive game. The other line is just Swiss.

Don't be surprised if Sbisa looks better than Bieksa. At least he plays physical and faces the direction of the plays. Bieksa forever getting turnstiled...

Benning is never mentioned in the sequin part. He only looks bent out of shape when they don't sign Horton.

I love the Cam Neely bit where he says he isn't developing fast enough.

REALLY.......... This coming from Cam Neely.

That's only one meeting and all of them are aware that the cameras are on and recording. I highly doubt the Seguin discussion/decision only took place in those few minutes. We'll never really know which side of the fence Benning was on, but the fact the trade was made means there's a higher probabililty that he was on the "trade Seguin" wagon than not. Can only speculate.

So during a season where for the most part we've finally had decent support scoring from lines 1-4. Our defense is now only ahead of Buffalo and Edmonton in point among defensemen this year.

This is from episode 1 which is on youtube, so you can see the full video. Benning is on the fence in the other conversations. which happen earlier than this part, but everyone else wants to trade him

He constantly talks about young players which is good.

I cant even think of trades that make sense for this TDL or leading up to it. I have ideas for the off season. I doubt the pressure is too high on Benning this season.... not enough to make him do stupid moves hurting the future.

Play it out... next season try and add a couple UFA's. A Dman and top 6 forward. Combine that with a couple of trades that secure the future like a selection from this group... Bieksa/Burrows/Miller/Higgins/Hansen

I'd be willing to part with these young players only if it were for youth/draft position upgrades.... Jensen/Kassian/Lack/Corrado/picks

I think trader Jim wont blow his load til draft day to be honest.
