Really enjoyed him brought good energy and humour to the broadcast. I hated most of the other sportsnet guys so this suck.

Used to look forward all year to "Yulin' With The Page." The entire years' best highlights by month set to great music.

All these sportscasters are starting to look and sound the same. Taylor at least had a personality.

Onrait & O'Toole on TSN were pretty good too.

If James Cybulski is in and Don Taylor is out then the Sportsnet twits in TO don't know poop about their viewing audience out west.

I can't stand listening to James Cybulski. Can't stand him. Utter goof. He's much more suited to the metrosexual Toronto audience.

Agreed. Don Taylor has always had that west coast laid back approach to his broadcasts. He was never much of a homer, and the style he employed to the high-light packages was pretty cool.

I don't know how you peg Donny as arrogant. A real beauty if you ask me... Hilarious, and knows his poop.

(pretending to sign his notes at the end of the broadcast, attempting to inject Taylor humour, which was usually a fail.) Even Gary Valk has to give him a "WTF" glance at least every game broadcast.

When sportspage had Barry MacDonald and Paul Carson and a young Taylor they were a refreshing broadcast, but like all refreshing ideas, their time had come.

Also I'm agreeing with steamer...Andre Boudrias. Now where did I leave that walker.
