I can understand Gillis (Arrogant) and Burrows (Cheap Antics, but in the past). Don't know why the outside world would hate AV, that's strictly in house hating...and what the fcuk did Raymond do to inspire outside world hate...fall down too much for you.

People are ridiculous. I was following the game on twitter last night and saw comments like, "Canucks have no class. They better acknowledge Smyth" Then they do what they do an the comments are: "Wow, I can't believe they did that. I've never seen such class." And the, "This must be because of Linden."

There has been too much crap over the years about the team having no class. It's BS. All teams have classy players and all have jerks. Canucks did what they did and other teams -- even a Gillis-led team -- would have done the same.

I don't think it was a guarantee that the nucks would do that.
and neither do I think alot of teams would've done that. I believe it was hank directed. who's one of the classier players in the game.
gillis nor linden had anything to do with that. it wasn't planned.
it seemed completely spur of the moment by going off and then coming back out

it'll be forgotten sooner rather than later. even on the broadcast, hrudey started talking how he's "never seen anything like that before". hrudey lives in calgary, but apparently didn't remember when iginla wouldn't let the flames leave the ice and the players came back out in 2008 after trevor linden's last game and all the players shook his hand and congratulated him.

being perceived as divers doesn't equal no class. the canucks have just as many players who do great things in the community as 29 other teams. they visit children's hospitals and give back to charities just as much as others. i dislike a couple guys on the team as hockey players but wouldn't dismiss them as people. except for david booth and his bs bear baiting.
