Yes. Guys like Brendan Morrison, Sammy Pahlsson, Michael Handzus, etc. type veterans.

Guys you would have completely forgot still existed in the NHL.

Keep an eye on Domonic Moore, Jeff Halpern, Scott Gomez as some names to surface in trade rumors involving the Blackhawks. Stan and co. have been on this merry-go-round for a few years in a row now.

1. Hartman DID play in juniors with Plymouth last year, although he had a stint with USA at U20 tournament. This is NOT his first season.

2. Kevin Hayes plays at Boston COLLEGE not Boston University.

TT - next year in Chicago? Rockford?

Seems like there are no forwards close to being ready to move up - Q/FO don't seem to think Pirri/Morin/Nordstrom will make it.

Certainly the college and junior players are three or more years away.

Not getting a good feeling about the short- or mid-term prospects in the system, except for TT. Doesn't seem to say much for the drafting under Stan and his scouts.

I think the Avs shop him, pending UFA and not sure if he would resign. Could get more icetime on other teams. Useful player though

He would fetch an ok return as a deadline rental player. But on the Avs he is the 9th man on the depth chart even though still useful.

But he wont play center again in the Top 9 with the Avs, and he is better as a center

As long as the Rangers are in it, I doubt Moore will be available. He'd be a nice addition, for what it's worth.

If Regin doesn't pan out, I wouldn't be surprised if Bowman made a move for Gomez to try him as the #2C. It's something I wouldn't want to see, but what other options do the Hawks have at this point without trading a roster player?

not sure about the cap situation for you guys going forward besides looking at Cap Geek. But I assume looking at moving him at the draft? Not sure how you can afford to have his hit.

Except for the fact they have no compliance buyouts left and the cap recapture is brutal. BUY HIM OUT. Oh, and he is playing really well.
Bickell's contract is fine. In another season it will be the going rate. Rather have him at 4 than Clarkson or Clowe for more and longer terms.
