Burrows is an embarrassment to the Canucks, get rid of that POS. I kinda wish there was no break so we'd continue with this free fall, I'm sure it'll continue vs St. Louis on the 26th. |

10 years without a win, Leafs fans were acting like they won the Cup. not that any of them know what that feels like. |

Yeah, Burrows is pretty much the only one still perpetuating the Canucks' identity as pussies, divers, and what not. With the exception of him and Kassian (strictly in the eyes of Oilers fans), the rest of the team seems to have cleaned up their act. It's a shame, really. |

I loved the shots he gave Kessel last night. Kessel pooped his pants and skated back to the bench as quick as he could...which isn't really quick. |

Yeah, we're not blessed with an organization that has won multiple championships like the Vancouver Canucks. |

You know Kessel tried to get away. Kinda like sedins/Marchand. Kinda ironic that the 1st was sedin being a wimp but the second was Kessel being a wimp. Its one or the other |

Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Game Review: Another Late Collapse, A Much-Needed Break
The Vancouver Canucks go into the Olympic break with a whimper after they dropped their seventh straight game on Saturday, to Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.
The Comets are still last in the AHL's Western Conference - Carol Schram
I don't follow the ahl much, but I had no idea they were in the Western Conference...
Thanks for the info on FA. I guess it is all part of some master plan. |

I think the reference is to the modern era... you know 30 teams, not everyone makes the playoffs... |

Division titles, presidents trophies vs nothing? - Scooby_Doo
You can cling to those all you want. It's a Stanley Cup or nothing to brag about. Your hollow Northwest division titles may as well be a participation ribbon, that division was a joke. They earned their President's trophy, and poop all over it with that embarrassing home loss in game 7 to the Bruins. Instead of typing Division titles and President's trophies vs. Nothing you should have typed Division titles and President's trophies = Nothing, because that's just the truth of the matter. |

a) Kessel couldn't skate back because Burrows had a hold of his hair like an 8 year old girl
b) Kessel not fast? Come on now, that's weak, even for you... |

I've seen Burrows drop gloves with Shea Weber so I'm not sure if "wussy" applies but his side show agitator antics are beyond old. Torts seems to have cleaned up the act within the team's ranks (and that included Burrows) until recently the goal-scoring drought frustration bubbled up too much for him and he regressed back to his old ways. As fans we've seen it all before when he'd struggled but it sticks out now since he's the only Canucks player that seems to be doing it.
He's scored some big goals for us and I do thank him for his service but I wouldn't mind to see him moved at this point. Unfortunately his new contract coupled with his poor play this season will find few takers. |

You are the equivalent of pissing in the wind. You want to rate the last 20 years of Canuck Success to Toronto Success based on pre -colour television?
Give your head a shake. That's moronic.
It's like saying the Greeks sure have a powerhouse in Sochi this year.
Get on your bike.

Honestly this is just a laughable comment. So 29 teams had a terribly miserable season and only one had a successful season.
So if you .look at it this/way then a guy who doesn't win the Stanley cup is also garbage/a failure
So R Bourque was a pathetic player until he got lucky to be traded to a stacked team 3 months before his career ended. Wonderful logic.
I get your point but your semi retarded if you believe there isn't different levels of success. The canucks haven't won a cup but are a considerably more successful team over that past several yrs |
