Why the hell would Chicago want either one of them, let alone BOTH?

Peter Regin is basically worthless. A lower-line center who has a career FO mark of 44%? Please. He's an AHL-caliber player. No way he stays with the Blackhawks.

PM Bouchard is a gamble. Used to be an effective player with the Wild back in the day but that was like ... seven years ago. If he's useless to the Islanders, he may as well be useless to the Blackhawks.

Only bright side is that the 'Hawks only pay half of the salaries.

Peter Regin is basically worthless. A lower-line center who has a career FO mark of 44%? Please. He's an AHL-caliber player. No way he stays with the Blackhawks.

PM Bouchard is a gamble. Used to be an effective player with the Wild back in the day but that was like ... seven years ago. If he's useless to the Islanders, he may as well be useless to the Blackhawks.

Edit -- Regin's was slightly more useful when he was confined to the fourth line. Don't know if you guys need a fourth liner who can eat up some time and not make any horrible defensive mistakes, but that's something he can do.

Not sure but there may be a limit as to how much of the cap hit the trading team can hold. Snow's going to need as much as he can hold on to anyway to get to the floor once Vanek and MacDonald go.

PMB is a pretty good player. Hawks will bring it out of him. Regin showed some flash's. This is just a depth move for the run to the finals.

Yep, he didn't start in the AHL, he was put there after not doing much of anything on any line they put him on. Probably because of the injury issues he's had, but he refuses to do anything in any sort of high traffic area.
