I have a bad feeling Gary's last big triumph is going to be expanding into 2 new territories. One being Seattle and one being either a second team in Toronto or Quebec City.

Cliffs: He's OK w/ 16/14 team-split, doesn't mean expansion is coming.

Thats was actually my first thought. Im just sick of hearing about canadian franchises being so infallible, always kicking around us teams.

Considering Ottawa's ticket prices and attendance numbers, I can't imagine any scenario where they could lose money, save for just plain incompetent (or worse, crooked) management on the business side. Considering that these numbers are available to anyone and everyone, Melnyk should be embarrassed to publicly state that the team is losing money.

you are a true idiot. the team would be sold before moved. im sure you have never amounted to much in life if you are this stupid. most teams that are at cap ceiling are that way because they went out on July first and overpayed for some plug who did nothing to deserve that amount of money. with a management team like ottawa has they don't need to spend and our owner knows this. we have 10 million in cap space for trade dead line and way to many good players in bingo. we are laughing. as for you flyers, keep on spending and putting plugs in net and having no d men. you have no say in anything bud !
