Nice tribute to Shero Ek. And you are dead on about him and Pat Burns.

Though I was supposed to hate the Flyers in the 70s, and since then, I always admired the identity Shero created for his teams, and essentially the city. Wins against Philly always came at a price.

As much as people like to rip on Holmgren I will give him and the Flyer brass kudos in that they are always trying to make their teams the most competitive they can. No rebuilds in Philly ever....
