89 is right. Haven't we gotten used to the sound of silence yet?
Tomorrow Darcy has plans already. Going to curl up on the couch and watch a Matlock marathon. |

So Kevin, how are these exorbitant contracts supposed to play out after the cap goes down? Is it the low tiered players that will be getting screwed? Or do you see an abundance of good players available because teams will be out of cap space and can't sign them? |

Grabovskia and Stalberg should be on the radar. Also maybe even check out Kuba? |

I think both will be to expansive for Darcy to get. If by some strange reason he does something tomorrow I bet like some have said already, we see Matt Cullen. It was just reported that the Wild will not offer him a contract.
Not trying to be negative, how good do you think Stalberg will be not being on the Hawks anymore. |

We always seem to end up with junk at this time of year. I'm not expecting Darcy to land anyone worth their weight in sh!te. |

I personally have gotten used to Darcy not doing a damn thing in free agency. He talks a big game telling the fans what they want to hear. He tells them that money is no object and that we have an owner that is committed to bringing in winning talent, but we have seen a regression since the Pegula takeover. He says that he will bring in the right players not necessarily the best players. We all know what that means. At the end of the day tomorrow we are sitting with no players. Is that a bad thing though Darcy is inept when bringing in talent. look what he did three years ago when Pegula gave him the reigns to spend. He went out and got Robyn who was traded this past trade deadline, Leno who has not played a full season since he got here and probably would have been a buyout option had he not needed yet another operation, then comes Erhoff who is not the best by any means but an ok pickup. although he overpaid for the most part on that day. I have yet to hear if Cody Hodgsen has signed a tender yet which scares the hell out of me because he is probably one of our better Centers. I was hoping and praying for a Ryan Miller trade so that Enroth and Hackett could take over but that has not happened and probably wont. Sorry for the rant but when it comes to free agency Darcy brings in poop or does nothing, and also gives up quality talent on our team. Speaks volumes for where this team is now when the best in free agency wont even schedule a visit as we have seen with Lecavalier, Horton and Briere. Enough said. Thank God Im a fan of Hockey in general or else I would be mightily disappointed again. |

Darcy is slower than a three toed sloth, it will take him a month to just make a contact offer to Hodgson. |

This free agent crop blows. If we don't sign anyone, who cares? We'll pick top 3 next year regardless. Moving Miller should be the priority. |

This. We have so many prospects and def to move along with Miller that we can get some quality skaters in return. |

I'd be OK with Grabo here....can't go wrong with a guy that hates the Leafs. He'd have an axe to grind and he'd get the opportunity early and often |
