I feel like a loss here would be the last straw for a lot of fans. Enjoy the game! It's another sellout.

I hope you're right. Though, if the last two years have taught me anything, I should know not to predict wins with this team.

When I was blogging over on the MyHockeyBuzz side I did predictions in my blogs and my record was downright dreadful. It was embarrassing. That little segment didn't make it over when Ek brought me on.

I like this idea. That's just going to be my go-to prediction whenever the Lightning are playing. Not going to name a team, but it's going to be 5-3.

Seems like the Sabres always give us a hard time, so even with them down, this game won't be easy by any stretch.

And ultimately we could use the loss. Kick butt, Tampa!

They can't fall into the old trap game after being away because they are right back out for four. They need some momentum going forward from this game as they face a Rangers team that has fallen off stride a little without Nash then Boston, Pittsburg and the Devils. If they can't win tonight the season could take a serious hit with another bad road trip. This is time to step up to the plate and play solid team hockey otherwise these sellouts will be just a footnote. Vanek always kills us so they need to be tough on his line and from their their scoring has been sporatic. We have some good line matchups after the top one so that's where the game will be won or lost. Please no more soft goals or strolls in the park tonight or they'll be fighting from behind quickly.

Definitely a lot of similarities, especially in their work ethics. Can't help but love the guy.


If the Lightning show up for the full game, I wouldn't expect less than 5 goals scored (I could probably say that any given game to be honest). But then again there's always the X-factor that is Ryan Miller.

Lose Lee buffalo is terrible if not for Miller but they'll probably win on two screwups not a way to be a playoff contender

Losing to a shi**y team like the Sabres is the bottom. Look for this team to drop quickly. They outplayed them outshot them outclassed them and still lost.

Our played was improved, we attacked hard and played a good game. We've improved and hopefully we will carry it into future games. It's a step in the right direction. Go Bolts.
