As you can see from my tweets, I decided to go with the cloning and transferring technique. Worked like a charm. In 30 minutes, I was able to get my HDD C drive copied over to my SSD, then I shut down, unplugged my HDD and rebooted. The SSD fired up, started win7 and redesignated itself to C: drive. Now I am running my SSD for windows and my HDD has 3 partitions (E,F,G) G drive is now the "clone" and will be set to autobackup my SSD.

Now I am going to optimize the SSD, transfer Steam, GW2, and Origin to my SSD, free up some space on my E: drive. Oh, I also installed a Cooler Master 120MM fan and will probably order a pizza for dinner on the internet.

I love computers.

but one tip, ssd won't necessarily speed up your game. some games benefit from it, like skyrim. but fifa performed just as fast on a regular 7200rpm hdd.

you can test it out for yourself but just letting you know that it might not matter.

also i'm jealous of that ssd. pls give it to me now.
