say i wanted to learn c# or c++ where would i go to school for that? not going back to cegep.

What I really recommend... learn it all ! Seriously... I know you want to do web design... but don't limit yourself to an actual language. Make sure you got your ass covered even if you aren't going to use one of the basic languages often.

As for the CSS... it's a style sheet... Im not dismissing it.. I use it for all web productions ... that I can then transfer to clients and let them update their stuff with CMS made simple.

But CSS is nothing if you dont have a HTML background and/or java or anything web related. CSS is like a cherry on a sundae...you can basically do the same in HTML if you are creative.

Web programers that get paid to do web programing can do so in about the same time.. better while only coding it.

To answer your wquestion about where, many options are out there. Do a AEC in web programming.. but select the best college out there.. the paper is worth it.. as long as the rep is good.

i don't doubt you. i know there is more than html and css to web design. i will aim to build a portfolio before applying, that's for sure.
