in any form if the players feel they are losing money, the lockout will continue. kind of funny, but the nfl lockout changed the owner player percentage too. the amount it changed the player revs was as much if not slightly more than the nhl's entire revenue.

I love how the NFL is produced.. and I've been saying it for a long time... the NHL needs to hire "those guys" to run the show.

I know.. I know.. not the same sport...

I think there's an easy way of keeping the actual value and fitting it all in the cap... Players have got to see this has a "Freeze" for the next 2-3 years and then it's subject to player revenue increases.
