I have a 98 528i now and it is time to give her to the scrap heap, but it was a great car, just needs too much poop done to it.

I agree with the 3 and 5's now, tough to tell them apart. A lot of 3 series zipping around this area, but i find them too small for my taste. The 5 series is just so damned perfect since it still zips without the added weight of the 7 series.

have you seen the i8? the sports hybrid...look it up on youtube...christ

if acuras count i drove a ton of those. a couple of NSX's too. i think the only BMW i ever drove was that poopty little economy one with the ass end chopped off in the late 90s.

yeah just saw the ads for the new i8, it's pretty similar to the m6 i saw on the road the other day. beautiful. the little suv they made looks retarded but whatever. it's a niche product for now.

edit: actually googled the m6 and the i8 is much more of a sports car


also kick, i'd have to say, current mercedes, the C and S are average looking, but besides that i love all the other models. their new CLA is in that same price range as the C and is gorgeous, the e series, especially the coupes are awesome. all their SL/SLKs look like spaceships. love those cars.

I've driven a 325xi, a few 90s and early 00's era jags (my grandfather had a thing for jags), and a Maserati which was his last car.

Of them, I felt an almost overwhelming sense of control with the 325, had the most fun driving my grandfathers cream x308, and the Maserati just scared the poop out of me.
