Home opener we sometimes packed like 400 people into the rink.

Playoffs would get up there too.

The nutsest was an exhi we played in Edson. I'm positive the entire town attended. Cops and stuff were there to keep people in line.

in peewee i played at the bobo-quebec pee-wee tourney 3 hours north of quebec city. its actually one of the biggest pee-wee tournaments in the world, but it's obviously overshadowed by the quebec one. the whole town watches about half the games. i think its about 4000 people or something. it was nuts.

our pee-wee coach was a lunatic and he also had the brilliant idea of having our first names on the nameplates of our jerseys. what a moron.


edit: that pee-wee year i was also playing for my middle school team and we played a game with 8 players and no backup goalie against the best team. we lost 18-0. i was in net for every goal.

In our provincial final my last year of minor we played St Albert and we got the main event ice. It was like a 5000 seat arena and it was damn near full when we came out to start the game. It was almost an even split between our fans and theirs.

Puck drop never happened though because they forgot to book refs or they never showed. We ended up rescheduling at a poopty little rink with 2 rows of bleachers. Not quite as dope.

I played against a peewee team that had 8 players and one goalie and we won 18-0 in my youngin days.
