Got my new machine.

Runs (frank)ing great.

But

My (frank)ing sound card ain't working
3months of shopping for this.

Will find a solution tomorrow... need to contact MOTU and see why the (frank) things arent perfect.

I blame MOTU, firewire to thunderbolt adapter and windows (frank)ing 8.

Sound card has been working for years and still works with a regular firewire.

Im about to test it on the same laptop that runs win7.

But I was just told that there's a chip in the thunderbolt converter ( made by mac of course) that makes it run passive... this could also be the source of my problemes ( would then be related to mac pc conflict)

And no Desi, owning a desktop is not an option. Carrying a desktop on a daily basis with screen and the other poop is not part of my solution.
