Well Bernier's been in the league for a while.... let's just say he's demonstrated more than Reimer or Scrivens wouldn't you agree?
- Scabeh

Scrivens, yes, Reimer, no.

Bernier tells @TVASports he expects to be traded close to training camp, "preferably close to home". More details to come.

Trade MacArthur, Bozak and a pick for a 2013 1st and a B prospect?

I don't understand why MacA is now taking Kule's place in the top six.

That's true it will be a relatively high pick. I was thinking of it in terms of the Bruins were it would be in the mid-20s and it seemed reasonable, but I forget its the Leafs first rounder. I don't think I would do it either

Hey guys...have you checked this out yet? http://www.sportsnet.ca/h...s_nhl_james_vanriemdsdyk/

Would you rather give the chance to Kadri or JVR?
For me, I'd say give it to Kadri...now that's he's working with Roberts, it would be really nice.

back from vacation.. it was very nice and much needed.. and getting back in the work groove fun fun.

well.. at least now you know they are going to be gone in a week.... how are they noisy? fighting, partying?

- Dozzer

That's good.

It started with them having 2 subwoofers in their living room directly below ours. They would turn them up so loud it would vibrate our entire living room. At one point Blair took a video of the TV set at a volume of 6 and you could hear it clearly. Then she filmed it when they had the music on and the volume is at 70 and you can't hear the TV. Plus the bass shakes everything and it actually caused my Xbox controller to vibrate OFF the table.

After that I went down and FREAKED on them. It got better after that, but then other poop happened where they had made enemies and got broken into and fights and a broken window. They then decided to start hanging out in the one guys bedroom which is directly below ours and they make noise at the most ridiculous hours.

For example, last Sunday at 4:30am they cranked up music from the room right under us. We called the cops for a noise complaint. Cops showed up, knocked for 10-15minutes with no answer on the door. Music turned down. Cops left, music back up. Called cops again. Cops knock for another 10-15minutes. Still no answer. Music stops. Cops leave, music finally stays off.

But music on early mornings has happened quite a bit over the last couple weeks. And it's usually around 5am. When they hang out in the bedroom even just talking is loud and we can hear everything clear as day. It's ridiculous. After I freaked out about the bass he took them and put them as subs in his car so that wasn't an issue anymore. But then the 5am crap started.

Plus they have friends over all the time that don't give a crap about anything and have put 4 or 5 holes in the wall in the hallway when you first walk into the building. There's a TON of damage to the building, and since 1) the landlord doesn't give a crap and 2) their friends don't care, nothing will be done to fix the place up probably.

Thankfully they got evicted, but they were given 2 weeks, which basically gives them 2 weeks of not giving a crap about anything.

And to be fair, it's only 1 of the roommates that live there. The other 1 is quiet and we get along great. Unfortunately, he lives there too and is getting punished because of the other guy and his friends.

It seems like I wrote a TON but honestly, that's only a portion of the crap we've been dealing with in regards to them. If I were to explain everything I'd be typing for an hour.

The funny thing about those two, is that I wouldn't mind if either was at centre or on the wing.

I'm assuming we're talking about Bernier...too lazy to look back, but I would definitely give up a first for Bernier. Although the Leafs fanbase seems to have faith in Riemer, if you get Bernier you know you atleast have one good goalie and if Riemer pans out than a solid tandem. I would pull the trigger if that is the asking price. Burke is never afraid to trade 1st rounders why stop now?
- celata29

um, based on what exactly? He's as unproven as Reimer... Higher pedigree sure, but he's yet to prove he's a number 1, which is why he's available.

Just read it. Kid's still confident (cocky), fine by me. 21-year old in an 18-year old's body sounds about right. Good thing is, nutrition/off-season/dedication can fix that and he still has the natural ability and tools, just needs to get bigger and faster.

Still think he's a Ribeiro kind of guy, but that's still top 6.

As for #1 center, don't think he'll ever have the size or defensive commitment for that. I just want him to make and stick with the club this year; tired of poopty stop-gaps all the time, it's time to solidify a top 9 and run with it for a few years.

Yeah that's true, hasn't proven it. IMO he is of number one quality. I wouldn't trade a 1st rounder though looking back now, because I was thinking of a first rounder in terms of the Bs not the Leafs.

I'm not a fan of Reimer......... but i'd rather go with him and not give up anything for Bernier.

He is still a question mark. Grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side.
