So, we have 15 NHL forwards on the active roster right now,

Leblanc can start in the minors,
so who else will be sent down?

- Oilhab

Leblanc will be sent down and called up when Armstrong gets injured.
Gomez just won't be there.
Nokelainen will be the 13th forward and will probably be put on waivers before Christmas.

i think Armstrong needs a very strong camp to make the team. that's an easy contract to rid yourself of.

Isn't it obvious already Eller is much better playing center?
- Scabeh

lol...really.

He must really suck as a winger.

I think we have to assume that Gomez will be there.

And can you carry 13 forwards and 7 Dmen or is it one or the other?

I'm pretty sure someone would pick up Weber or Diaz on waivers though...

Blunden is on a 2way....

As for weber and diaz...Habs will keep a 7th D for sure, probably both.

Eller plays wing?
- l3ig_l2ecl

Eller was rotting on the wing. He's better as a centre.

Did they increase the size of the active roster?

We can keep 8 D and 13 forwards now?

If he is healthy, he will be in the line up. Therrien is not stupid, he saw the Leafs record last year with Armstrong in the line up

Anything from last year shouldn't be taken as a given.

Eller is young and he's got all the needed attributes to become a good winger. Not saying it's the best.. but IF Gally makes the team.. I wouldn't mind Eller on his wing. Would make for some entertaining hockey.
