I think you and I are overdue a pretzel date and it is creating tension between us that is palpable to our friends.

Did you see the kid with 104 steals for season already in A ball?

http://www.fannation.com/...er-to-the-bigs?xid=cnnbin

Cool Papa Bell was famed for his speed. "One time," Satchel Paige remarked, "he hit a line drive right past my ear. I turned around and saw the ball hit him in the ass sliding into second base!"

I hate fast runners. Baseball should not be about speed and agility.

Makes sense, They both didn't have any linemates
- Oilhab

These numbers take that into account. DD was the highest in terms of offense, but Eller was the most defensively responsible cent(re)man on the Habs.

Not hard at all.

I think saying a 22 year old ( or 23) that he can't play wing when he's got the tools to do so.. is pretty much fawkin dumb, stupid and ignorant.

Did he have succes on wing ? nope...
But last year's team was poorly coached and too many times Eller was playing Gomaids.

All I am saying is IF he's properly coached.. maybe he could become as good a winger.

BTW.. he sucks at faceoffs... That;s kind of important...

- WaterBoy

Looks like all the hab forwards will have to play wing next year.

Actually, we all know our way around a wiener here.

PS - By 'wiener', I mean 'erect penis'. I hope that was clear.

PPS - I'm implying that we're all promiscuous homosexuals. I hope that was also clear.

the only way to see if eller is as good or better than desharnais is to put eller on the pacioretty/cole line and desharnais with moen and prust.

but then desharnais would be lost because he can't play the wing and cannot play a 3rd line centre role.

of all our centres.....(all of them ) desharnais is the most expendable.

- rob121

how many Montreal centres have put up 60 points this century?

Koivu? Plekanec?

How many Montreal centers have had first line minutes this century?

Koivu, Plekanec,

And they did it with partial first line calibre wingers.

Ribeiro and DD.

Perreault had 56 pts.

EDIT, well this century it would only be DD. As Pleks last 60+ season was in 2009-2010

I KNOW STFU
