You have to be careful when posting about ek, otherwise you might get some grey eyed glances from some mods.

I can't find it anymore but there was that video of the kid who really pissed him with the dirt mustache, kinda funny.

Mine was 6 months ago.

May have to consider a new account though. Don't want everyone thinking I want to reacquire Matt Carle.

do any of these big guys play Defense
- vejim

Lauridsen and Larsson do. Lauridsen is 6'6" 220 and Larsson is 6'3" listed at 172. He looked a lot thicker than that to me, though. There was another big winger, named Mitch Elliot, but he seemed more a grinder type than anything

Not sure on Larsson. He looked like a solid body, though.

I believe Clapperton would go back to junior(he's 18) and could be a slide contract.

Thanks for the great summary from today Jsaq. When can we expect the blog to start?

I would still rather them take a chance on a guy like Larsson with high upside but only a 2 year window vs. draft the low round grinders or brawlers like Mathers and Klotz. Those guys are a dime a dozen as undrafted prospects, etc.

I totally forgot that camp started today. I usually bring my daughter there. How was the atmosphere there? A lot of people go to watch today?

I think Enstrom is a very good player. But I see him as more of an upgrade over Carle, rather then a replacement for Timonen. Enstrom isn't the all around player that Timonen is. Enstrom is more of an offensive defenseman. Timonen is a player that can be a horse on the PK, match up against top lines. As well as play the PP point. That's not Enstrom. He would improve the Flyers. But I wouldn't look at him as a true #1 defenseman.

Reports indicate that the Sestito brothers have re-signed with the Flyers and Devils.

Not really that crowded. Quite a few people, but no trouble finding a seat or anything.

Mathers is a better skater than I realized, although the drills today didn;t really lend themselves to hsi abilities.

Interesting. When I went last season there was no where to sit. My daughter was kind of young but I just held her and watched. Did they use both rinks?

Nope. They used one rink. First group started at 9, then the zamboni came out, and the second group started.

Yup. The player who stuck out was Rinaldo. He was taking runs at everyone during the scrimmage/game.

That was one factor. This year was not as sexy.
