This isnt about being fair, the guy bucked up and bought the team. Its his to do whatever he chooses.

This team is lucky I spent thousands(maybe hundreds of thousands?lol)on them for literally 34 years now(I'm not 34 that is how long I've been a fan). The state this team is in with the perpetual BS surronding it if it takes a move to bring back respectability then so be it. I don't want it but if it stops the Wang/Snow circus I will 100% support it!



Edit; Good man x but don't state the rebuild BS bcs come december even you will be calling for Snows head like you were last year. Rebuild is just that. A rebuild, building up, improving. Stop with the wait and see, makes you guys look un-intelligent.

I was to with the signings, then they stopped. Short lived. This team as is, is what it is. Not far from last year.

didn't know the offseason ended... Give them some time - like I said, the Isles cannot sign guys due to their arena problems. No smart player would sign with a team in such clutter, how could they?

every day is a knee jerk reaction from these guys....no signing or trade (needless to say any player worse than bobby ryan isnt considered an actual trade) and that "season is over rant" begins

How could you guys bash Wang. He saved the isles or they would have been long gone had he not. He spent tons of money under mibury and what did that get us. Nothing.

Now we are rebuilding and you guys begging him to sell team. He sells his team and you can kiss the isles good bye.

I know many are going to disagree with this but I think the team is in beter shape this year then they were last year. They got better defensively and tougher. With Nabby number one who knows what will happen.

Oh and this whole arena thing sorry if I knew it was goign to be like this then I would have been ok with the Islanders leaving a long time ago. At least the hurt would have been gone by now.

Yea...nice emotional conversations here on Hockeybuzz...but that is a daily occurance. The good news is that if anything, this proves that the Islanders have passionate fans and if/when the team turns all of this around, the fans will be back. Now, "turning things around", includes:

- New Arena. The Islanders are NOT moving out of NY. That will never happen in a million years as that would be such an embarrassment to the NHL that they could not hold a team in the largest market in the world. They will probably go to Brooklyn for 3-4 years then have their own arena (maybe in Nassau but most likely Queens maybe Belmont). Bettman will force CW to sell before the team leaves.

- For me, this is the last year to give some of the current guys a chance to shine. If KO and Bailey play as they should (and as they were drafted), then we probably didn't need to make a big splash in FA this summer (remember, this class was not great and players were way overpaid). This is also the last year for me to wait for DiPi to get back. If he can't play, move him out or something.

Funny thing is I am not really worried about scoring much. I think they will be fine. I was more worried defensively and they addressed that pretty much. There is talk that Jbo might come here too and if that is the case you got yourself 3 pretty nice defenseman. Nabby will have a great year I think we will be fine. One more forward I am all for but I dont want Semin. Dont need another Kvasha skating around

I will have to agree that what you see now is what you are going to get for the season. Usually it is now when Snow makes his signings but he did that the first day. I am going to say that they might add one low key guy and that is it.
