Well im sure if we got Regehr for basically nothing, Iggy is there captain yes but he is getting older and if CGY is trying to rebuild I dont think he will be that hard to get and there 3rd for the highest Cap hit and if they are trying to make moves they need to lower it.Gerbe,Adam and a pick (2nd or 3rd) could do it.

i think we're in a holding pattern until this Doan thing is figured out. if he's available i'm sure he'll have his suitors, but it also depends on how badly Pegula wants him, not like that will necessarily tip the scales but he could put in quite an aggressive offer, who knows. i'd assume once that's clear we might see a trade we've wanted. my initial "wait and see for a trade" prediction was wednesday, with the extra days with this Doan thing, and how media is buried on friday, i would say we should by friday whether or not a hammer is coming down like we want, tradewise, but i do expect SOME movement.

Even at 40-41 I can assure you that you will enjoy watching Jagr in person very much. He is a pros pro (with insane puck skills and an ass that will block anybody off the puck).

A lot of Pens fans were pretty upset at him going to the Flyers, I was just thrilled to have him back in the league. I credit him for a lot of successes that I had along the wall in my experiences. Tried my best to emulate.

i was going on darcys interview where he said we're in a holding pattern but made an inference that the reason was the Doan situation. i was just further inferring on a timeline, mostly for the fun of it, and mostly based on darcys history around this time.

either way, this is an exciting time to be a sabres fan!
