Ryan is the guy you want...he is a RW...power forward and scores 30 plus goals a year...there's going to be a lot of competition among the big teams like the Flyers, Rangers, San Jose, Pitt, maybe Detroit...

I agree, 100%. I'd rather have Kostitsyn, because that would basically be like a $1.75M deal, with incentives for production....or go fly around Russia on death traps- the choice is yours. Semin will get ALTOGETHER too much money from SOMEONE, guaranteed.

Matt Carle is not a great defensman...ask flyers fans they aren't missing him...would he be an upgrade sure..but he was a turnover machine....since we all know that ufa's aren't coming here and we aren't signing them then they have to find a brain campbell type contract to trade for

We already have a solid offensive defenseman, Mark Streit- and he's better than Carle at both ends of the ice, IMO.....remember, he doesn't play for the Flyers offensive machine....and now, neither does Carle. Like some were saying, Bryan Allen would have been a good grab, but it wasn't to be. Carkner at that price adds the muscle we need in front of the net for the division games....my only worry was his health. None of the other FA defensemen interested me...except Suter, obviously.

The only reason DiPietro even had so much as a decent year was because of the trapezoid- before that, all he was good for was assists....for the opponent . With the trapezoid, he was reigned in enough to be a DECENT goalie, and he actually started to learn the position, little by little. The problem is that when he got hurt, he also forgot EVERYTHING HE LEARNED about playing goal from the time he was drafted up until that point. When I see him on the ice now, I cringe the way I used to back in 2003. Like I said, on opening night two years ago, he literally stood to the left of an open net, facing the rear boards, as a puck whizzed by the left side of his head and off the glass. This guy has no business being on NHL ice, healthy or not.

Agreed. Everyone is frustrated. I think if Wang communicated better and solidified arena situation it would chill everyone out. That's true for me anyhow.

Listen i still pay for my 2 seats in 303 & i live in NC... i make it to like 4 games a season... I have had my season tix since i was 16 y/o paying for them with my F'in Newsday route! So i dont have to thank "Goldie" for anything.
