yep. that'll bring some pressure though. whoever said there's no pressure to win in edmonton is probably going to be wrong this year, and schultz immediately becomes the highest profile D on the team now just because of this and the Gretz call etc.
Fair or not, (and it's not fair), he's a massive focal point next year on a team that should at least challenge for the playoffs so we'll see how he does. it'll be interesting. - chester97
I wonder if Feaster still thinks Edmonton is a joke |

probably, but we all know he's nuts anyways.
the oilers need to make sure they don't have at worst a 15% chance at the #1 pick next year to not be a joke. they've had pretty easy decisions for the last three years, it's time to put it together. |

why....I've been hearing from just about every assclown from Edmonton about what a powerhouse this team is and how they're gonna run roughshod over everyone and how evereyone should look out for the OIlers "dynasty part deux". Horsepoope. All I've seen is 2 30th place finishes, a 29th place finish, still no d whatsoever, worse goaltending, slight BRIEF glimpses of talent and Hall wrecked every year he's played cause like RNH he's too damn little. Finish not LAST in ur damn division even ONCE then start bragging like leaf fans who've also accomplished absolutely less then NOTHING since expansion..... - RichardPeterNuss
No oilers fans have made this claim. You are a blowhard and full of crap. Go away, you probably didn't get to have some sweet love from the missus or mister last night and have come on here to take it out on oiler fans. Piss off. |

What a terrible situation. We have so many good up and coming players that we might not be able to afford one of them in 3 years.
Use spacing in your next rant, that was a trainwreck to read through. - spawnofbettman

The dumbest argument ever.

I was over on the CDC boards. You should see the hateful comments a lot of the posters are making there. Calling him a douchebag, a traitor, hoping he gets a concussion, saying Edmonton should be charged with tampering.
If I was a Canucks fan I would be mortified by the reaction of some of their fans. |

I'm waiting for all the folks ready to say he's overrated etc. because he didn't chose their team. Bring it! - oilersfanatic
Seriously he's a good D prospect but guys. We don't give a phunk.
Alexandre Daigle was good as well in his juniors years. Let's let him play first and after that we'll be able to say good or bad |

Thank God so tired of hearing about this clown who has done absolutely nothing. Good Luck with Matt Gilroy, I mean Justin Schultz. |

Nail Yakupov will be more valuable then any of them in a shorter period of time, so no. |

Year 3.
We need to be at least be battling for a playoff spot right till the end.
I still believe we need a proven elite defender. |

going to be an expensive few years for the oilers. Hall/Eberle negotiations in 2104, Nuge/Schultz year after that, then Nail.
Hopefully they get a cup shot before they lose some talent due to contracts - numbear

....what makes him such a big fish? He hasn't played a minute in the league, so tell me how he is all of the sudden can't miss. Plenty of former hobey baker nominated college free agents that have flopped. What's to say he's not the next Matt Gilroy. Not trolling so much as asking an honest question. So much excitement over an unproven commodity. - twistedwrister9
who cares hes was wanted by 26 teams, n he picked oilers . not your team |
