I heard of it through a girl I know who lived in the Toronto area. She hated it, but when she explained it I fell in love. Who doesn't like french fries, gravy, and meat? - StayTunedMTC
I spent a summer working in Jasper. The funny thing about that place is that everything is almost twice as expensive but the beer is dirt cheap. My kingdom for a case of Pilsner! - Jeffmt
yes its weird there. i think its cause its a "family" place.

I forgot to add cheese, but I want some meat on it too. Maybe because I'm American, I always need meat or else it's not a meal. - StayTunedMTC
There's all kinds of variations now too. Smoked meat, chicken, brisket, ribs, even lobster. I like sausage or bolognese tomato sauce in there with the gravy.

At new york fries they have this butter chicken poutine, I am too scared to try it though as much as I love butter chicken. Also at burger they have this bacon sundae which i refuse to go anywhere near.

I think there's like 5000 people there during the off season and 8 liquor stores when I was there. That's my kind of family town. - Jeffmt
I love Marmot Basin, the ski resort in Jasper, (frank)ing amazing. Also the Jasper Park Brewery makes some of the best beer in Canada in my opinion. Funny thing is because it's located within a national park they said they can't really sell their stuff in beer stores, it's only on site. (frank)ing want to go back to Jasper and grab some turns on the mountain and some beers there real bad.

Lol yeah I had that here in Toronto...whatever, it's a food court fast food version of poutine, you're not missing much. They don't get the proper melting of the cheese and the butter chicken isn't that great. But if you're in the mall and you want some grease it gets the job done.
If its true that he sign with ed, good move on his part. As much as I'd like him on the leafs, can't say I wouldnt do the same. Oil have the best up and coming offence. Their defence is suspect which places shultz higher on the depth chart than on other teams. This choice proves that if you build it, they will come. Too bad leafs.... your only gonna attract flies with your sh*t
Your right. It's better than being a crappy team in the hockey capital of the whole hockey universe. And its better than being a team that continues to fail every year since 1969 or whenever your last cup was. - oj4lif3
lol... edmonton is still a crap city. When was the last time you heard someone say "Hey, Lets go to Edmonton!!!"
congrats oilers.......if a guaranteed top 4 spot was really all this kid cared about (which is basically what was being reported), then this decision was probably a foregone conclusion from day 1.
would have liked to have him in ottawa, but can't win em all. turn our attention to nash or ryan, or perhaps throw a poop load of money at suter.
congrats again oil fans, hope he works out for you...........to be honest, as long as he didn't end up in toronto or NY, i didn't really care where he went
