Rossi hinting a Parenteau. No offense to anyone who likes him, but Rossi has been garbage lately. Parenteau seems like the complete opposite type of player we'd go after.

I'm losing faith in him as a credible news reporter. He is turning into a guy that just throws random bs against the wall now. For my money Molinari is the best.

hey gunner i saw in the canes blog about staal that you think he could get 35 goals and 70 pts

really? now this might sound funny/outrageous but i had him pegged at 60-65 pts playing down there. i feel like the 70 pt mark catapults a player into that "next level" category

i think jordan is a VERY solid player...probably the best two way player in the game right now...but just cant really see him netting 70 pts down there

but idk...what do you think? and who are going to be his linemates?? i think the obvious answer is his bro but then who? skinner? if thats the case then bingo hes potting 70

Speaking of which, just one more week until the Stampede starts.

Ben, if you come down I'll take you drinking and buy you a lapdance. They're actually free if you wait until late enough.

There are not enough boobs and hotties in the world to make me want to come to Calgary and deal with cowboys and weekend cowboys.

Didn't know anything about him until we drafted him. When i heard his dad was a German HOFer i was in pretty interested. I've followed him since and man can he play hockey. I know this is a stretch, but 1-2 years from now i could see him playing on our 3rd-1st line (I say 1st because i wouldn't touch the Malkin line).

I think in 2 years he could try to replace Kunitz....I mean he's getting old and his contract probably will be done (just a guess, too lazy to look it up).

Jonathan Bumbulie of the Wilkes-barre beat summed up my thoughts on Parenteau perfectly

@CVBombulie: With all due respect, there are probably a dozen guys in the AHL with very similar skill sets to P.A. Parenteau.

After next week they won't be paid as well though.

He was well on his way to career highs in points and goals this year and that was with limited PP time. Given that he will have top 6 minutes all the time as well as PP time I don't see a problem getting those numbers.

What is the Deal with Moss? I'm not sure if it's the same person or not that keeps mentioning him, and i'm not trying to attack anyone , but his name has come up a few times. He is not good, I see alot of Calgary, give me Kennedy over Moss all day and I'm all for trading TK if we can replace him...

Jordan Staal will definitely hit 70 points if he stays healthy.

I'm a happily married 30 year old has gone plast my wild partying days. The last thing I need is to be picking fights with cowboys at stripclubs. If you had offered this 6 years ago I would be motorboating the brunette for all I am worth.

just watched the Vellieux highlights... impressed. would rather put him in then have to overpay for a bottom 6 guy. he looks like he has the size, grit, and mix of skill that we need.

Is vellieux a top 9 guy or is he a 4th liner? If he is a 3rd liner, you go after Brandon Prust who could really help this team out. If he is a 3rd liner, go get Moen.

Target Suter and Parise. I think Suter is already headed to DET though. Parise would be great

if you lose out on Suter, go after a guy like Allen or Garrison.

Letang-Oprik
Garrison/Allen- Martin
Despres-Niskanen

Parise-Crosby-Dupuis
Kunitz-Malkin-Neal
Cooke-Sutter-Vellieux/Moen
Vellieux/Prust-Vitale Adams

and any guesses on what happens if we lose out on Parise? Thinking we would see Ryan or Nash in a penguins uniform.

I have more faith in Jordan getting 70 points in a season than Drew Stafford reaching 60.

allen would be great with the team. as the roster is right now, it would be tough getting parise and suter and being comfortable with the cap. id rather see parise, allen, and maybe signing a bottom 6 winger for around 1.5 mil.

if we do miss out on parise, id say go after doan. also would anyone take a chance on mueller? i feel hes going to be the biggest/most rewarding risk in free agency.

By the sounds of the asking price for those guys, no chance either comes here. Wouldn't you think they want good current talent in return? I just don't see a package of current players that is nearly enticing enough unless the Pens are giving up a bunch of their best prospects......and that ain't happening.
