He said if he was Tambilini, he would call a team like MTL to see if he could get PK and the #3 pick for the #1, as he felt that is the type of deal/cost the Oilers should try to get for the #1.

He never said MTL should make the trade.

There never was any rumour, just an example of what the Oilers needed.
