Brian Burke is considering trades for a few centers. He's inquired about Statsny, Getzlaf, and Krejci. - mochoson

the more goalies that go the better for the Leafs.
mid-range goalies or goalies with 'potential' solves nothing-whether it be a veteran plug like Clemmonsen, A Raycroft-esque Mason, or a useless Bobrovski.
The fact is, unless the Leafs are attaining a true number one goalie, it makes absolutely no sense to aquire one....therefore the less teams needing goaltending, whether its CBJ, Tampa, etc....the less destinations/options for a real starter like Luongo.
I have to agree with that nimrod Cox, if Vancouver wants to trade Luongo, they have one option. Otherwise, Gillis can suck it. |

We already have too much depth at goalie.
We need height.
Or width.
Whatever dimension means "elite talent." - Atomic Wedgie
Well, someone just mentioned Mason.
Yeah, whatever, just forget what I just said. |

Martin Biron is another guy that I wouldn't be surprised about, if the Leafs got into the running (provided he makes it to July 1st)
Brent Johnson is another. |

Been saying that too, Biron would be an excellent idea. Provides some stability and still allows Reimer to develop playing 40 to 50 games.
Biron had solid numbers as the #1 for Philly not too long ago |

Philly are already stitching Birons jersey.
Brent Johnson is good for one thing, his overhand right.....otherwise-completely useless |

Kinda like a goalie tree here, just picking them off one by one to find the good one, eh? haha |
