This draft may be crazy strange. I will say the concussions would scare me off Nail. I'd love for the Isles to get Murray but it's not looking good.
Just got back from doing a little work... Have to go back out in an hour!!
Tried not to book anything tonight to watch the draft.
It's time Garth... call Milbury and ask him for some advice... - jimmc7722
It's brutal waiting for 7:00pm. Hurry up clock. Looks like some storms coming in NY. I think the same thing happened when JT was drafted. Hopefully a good sign.

Holding the No. 4 selection overall, the New York Islanders are open to trade their top pick at this year's NHL Entry Draft.
"All options are on the table," Isles GM Garth Snow told The New York Post. "If we can move prospects to get a player that is going to come in and going to help us and get us where we want to be, we're going to make that move ... we've gone through a rebuild, we have one of the best prospect pools in the NHL, so now it's an easier decision for me to make moves to get us help immediately ... we're looking the trade route, and if we don't have success in that area, then free agency starts in a week."
With only Mark Streit, Andrew MacDonald, and Travis Hamonic -- plus youngsters Calvin de Haan and Matt Donovan -- secured for next season, Snow needs to bolster his blue line. Big time. If trading that fourth overall pick helps garner a quality, experienced defenseman in return, the Isles GM should make that move.
"We're looking to add two or three veteran defensemen," Snow admitted.
This is the type of transaction that would likely unfold spontaneously. Especially if a prospect coveted by another teams emerges as available after the first three selections.
NHL clubs seeking blue-line help may want to give GM Stan Bowman a shout. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, it appears a 25-year-old defenseman with the Chicago Blackhawks is available.
"... League sources told the Sun-Times that the Hawks are actively shopping defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson, who has two years left on a four-year contract with a $3.5 million salary-cap hit ..."
There should be reasonable interest in the stay-at-home blueliner from around the league. Apparently D-man Steve Montador is on the block as well.
With nearly a full roster of players already in place for 2012-13, the Blackhawks were only expected to do some "tweaking" this offseason. Moving Hjalmarsson would be considered a fairly minor transaction as a means to free up some cap space ahead of free agency.
However, there are still some serious question marks in regards to the organization's goaltending. We're not convinced Bowman is fully content with riding Corey Crawford and Ray Emery for another full season.
Islanders won't make any significant deals today other than Garth trading our first round draft picks for a couple of 2016 2nd rounders....so we can extend the rebuild to 20 years!!
Seriously - i've heard rumors that Garth has called about Ryan and Yandle but does anyone realistically believe we will land one of these guys? Also Snow really scares me when we are in a draft spot like this one. If Forsberg or Murray is there why do I get a sinking feeling he will still trade down? It's an exciting time but also stressful because his personality is worse than a pissed off skunk.

I hope Garth has success in trades because relying on the Isles being able to sign meaningful FA's is not a good plan.
