Yakupov became alarming to many scouts during his teams playoffs when quit on his team and dogged it on several occassions because he felt he was the only one doing anything. Many of the scouts think his ego will be even worse in the NHL and he won't last long.

the way i see it...if the oilers pass on yak, they are stupid. if CBJ passes on him they are REALLY stupid; if MTL passes on him, they are REALLY INCREDIBLY stupid.

being that the islanders are REALLY INCREDIBLY (frank)ING STUPID sometimes, it goes without saying they would pass on yak as well....

Garth has to face reality. He most likely will have to overpay a little to get any REAL improvement to the team via trade. Not trade away the farm but something to sweeten the pot.

Indeed. I want to say Garth did a great job improving the team. I rather praise my team than rip it apart. Garth and Charles have another chance this offseason. Make it count.
