It's kinda ridiculous to get this worked up about a translated Slovakian interview. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. The guy just found out he's playing on Long Island...he'll get over the initial shock of that news eventually.

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Visnovsky has one season remaining on his NHL contract, and it’s my understanding there’s a “gentleman’s agreement” between the KHL and NHL not to sign away players currently under contract, so he’d have to honor his NHL contract. It could be Visnovsky is merely keeping his options open in case there’s an NHL lockout. Hopefully, we’ll have more clarification over his intentions in the near future.

There were a few other players that I liked better.

Of course that's only my opinion and I'm nothing more then an armature armchair GM. But I do have my favorites and the guy we picked 2nd isnt one of them.

Nah, I don't want to either. I think you see my point and I see yours. If this guy turns out to not play for the Isles I believe it's pretty obvious why this "trade" was made. It will probably piss me off more than anything this team has done which says a lot! It will just prove to the fan base that they are not committed to winning.

I can agree with that statement, but im sure they wouldn't.. they would point out how they are trying to keep costs down while the players they already have start to reach their potential. How they are committed to winning.. just not in the time frame you or I want.
