would want Komi as a depth defensemen or a third pair guy! a mid round pick is not going to be that costly. Depends if Garth can get other defensemen via draft or free agency. a komi trade would be a third option only.

I will trade a 7th round pick for Komisarek and nothing higher. I'd rather keep the mid-round picks and trust that we'll find someone nice in there. Not doing Burke & Co. any favors getting a garbage player/salary off their books.

We need you Potvin. You do get a sense Garth will do something. I cannot imagine Garth wanting to explain again why he brought in guys like Staios, Rolston, and Pandolfo again. He should be very motivated to show something this offseason.
