You cannot say it's a good draft yet X. Hopefully it is. You are really not surprised they drafted 7 dmen? Zharkov may have been worth a shot and I though the Isles were in a long rebuild so no need to replace PA for next year.

I was happy they got Visnovsky. Thought it was a good trade but bringbackbalky made a pretty good point earlier. I know its specualtion but it makes a lot of sense and after thinking about it it's almost transparent. I really believe that's why they "traded" for him. I know some will think I'm running with this but how do you trade for a guy who wanted to play in the KHL? His cap hit as compared to actual salary is a little to convenient. It all makes way too much sense. As far as us drafting Reinhart he looked like he got shot when Snow announced his name and the no interview part was alarming to me. Yesterday I wanted to be happy but was apprehensive. This is why. The life of an Islanders fan these days

I think it could be a double sword... I think he was traded for so he could help the team and or the cap. IF we make a trade at some point for Tim Thomas.. then THIS (visnovsky) was nothing more then a cap maneuver.

IF they trade for TT & Vis doesn't show.. thats 10 million to the cap.. without having to pay a cent of it. I dont like it.. but ya gotta admit its pretty smart.
