Actually, I think this is going to be the scenario if it turns out the way I've heard it might. Supposedly if he goes to the KHL, his cap hit still counts but Wang doesn't have to actually pay him. Knowing this, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the plan all along. Could be very interesting.

The thing is unfortunately that this team is a joke. Garth Snow is a joke, Wang is a joke. The rest of the leagues and 99% of its players believe this. Snow is never going to gain credibility and neither will Wang. That's just the way it is unfortunately. Them doing stupid shat constantly even wierd shat like picking all Dmen is looked at as strange and out there. Nobody wants to be part of this circus act.

Why? We should have been drafting to our needs accordingly the whole time so we didn't have this hole. Drafting huge Dmen all of a sudden is in essence admitting that you were being stupid for the last four years when just about every fan, commentator, reporter, or anyone who knows anything about hockey was aware of the deficiency. You knew, I knew, we all knew that we were lacking in Dmen especially of the big variety. Now, all of a sudden Snow says woops and drafts all big Dmen? . You don't find this funny in the least?

I have no faith in Snow at all. He was a terrible goalie and a he is not cut out for structuring a hockey club. He just drafted six (frank)ing defensemen in a draft, six! Like are you serious? For a team who ranks at the bottom of the league in scoring, I would think we'd have some interest in offense.

Free Agents think of Isles as the team with a lousy owner who fired a Cup winning GM after 40 days with a backup goalie as GM and a lousy building.

We have D in the system... de Haan, Ness, Donovan, Mayfield, Katic, Wishart, Cantin, Pedan, Russo, Kichton... the chances all of them develop into NHL D-men are slim... so he added 7 more.

What winger were we drafting that was replacing PAP next season? What are the chances of going from draft to the NHL?
