Seeing the Ladd photos makes me sad because by then, he was already gone from the Hawks and I always think how it must have been at least a little bittersweet for Ladder to wear the Indianhead that day. Maybe not, but I'm projecting my feelings onto the photo of him sitting next to the Cup.
