Kane for Nash would be a dumb move. Why on earth would you throw in Stalberg and Hammer? |

Hello non Hawks fans, as we've well established for the past 2 months trading Kane scenerios are based off of The Wirtz family having decided to move Kane no matter what. If thats the case, Nash is the best available player. Hammer and Stalberg create cap space. |

Actually, as of right now the idea of trading Hjalmarsson goes along with creating cap space for a run at Suter.
How does trading Stalberg create cap space? With his cap hit at $875,000, it doesn't seem to affect anything cap wise. |

Nash has turned into a 60 point winger who is highly overpriced.
Heck, you could even trade him for Bobby Ryan, it'd be better than dealing him for Nash.
Trade him for a goalie like Ryan Miller.. |

Maybe. But Nash on the same line with Toews I bet Nash gets 85+ points and the Hawks pp is better. Power plays need finishers , Patrick Kane is turning into Adam Oats , didnt score so much last year. Kane may be the best passer in the universe but if the Hawks have decided to move him Id rather the Hawks get a finisher in return. |

Nash and or Suter on the Hawks would be sick.
Nash on the top line may net him more then 100 pts.
Suter on D with Keith would be unreal.
Makes me cringe as a nucks fan. |

Kane for Matt Duchesne in some tweaked capacity would please me. Trading him for a winger makes little sense. |

The difference between the two cap hits is $1.5 million.
Still, moving Stalberg's cap hit isn't going to make much cap space. That's the point I was trying to make.
From what JJ's saying, it doesn't sound like Kane is going to move, unless a team makes a serious offer. I'm sure Kane's off-ice antics have hurt his trade value. If Kane has a good season this coming season, and can keep out of trouble, I'm sure he'll have trade value come next summer. I can't see the Hawks selling him now, and recieving lower value for him. |

If Stalberg is traded it isn't to shed salary...
But as a componet for a trade with a less attractive player like Frolik to be part of a package.
Hammer-Stalberg- Bickell are players who could be easily traded.

LMAO!! You'd think with that question we had traded Soupy for Frolik, rather than Jack Skille. Asking how Olesz is doing would be legit, but asking about Frolik? Silliness when he is, at least IMO, light years ahead of Skille, even though Fro isn't scoring. |

Cap hit is like $2.8 mil i believe. I'd like to get a useful forward who can forecheck, kill penalties, hits, and maybe one that plays center and can win faceoffs. |
