If Schenn, Read and Bourdon gets Bobby Ryan in return then Holmgren shouldn't hesitate at all, in my opinion.

Ryan-Giroux-Simmonds
Hartnell-Briere-Voracek
vanRiemsdyk-Couturier-Wellwod
Rinaldo-Talbot-FA/??

Jagr coming back isn't out the window either.  If he comes back, he could play alongside Briere and Hartnell.  Or they could keep this set up and go with a guy like Travis Moen or David Moss for the 4th line.

There's no way in hell you give that up for Bobby Ryan. Bobby Ryan is not a star player. He is not that good to command that return.

I don't care what the Flyers gave up for Lindros or that he never won us a cup...I just feel lucky that I got to watch him in his prime in Philly for a few years.

Loved when he would destroy a guy on the faceoff.

I hear you Mook. Don't you think it's time for JVR to step up and become that perennial 30 goal scorer power forward?
- PLindbergh31

We all know how "patient" the Flyers can be. These next few days will be crazy to ay the least. After the awards ceremony I think guys will start getting moved. This could be an interesting year. I think some teams on the brink may try to trade to get some fresh new pieces while s ome others will try and break the bank for that "superstar". I can see Toronto and N.Y. trying to make a big splash. I for one am excitied, make it rain trade muther (frank)ers!

I'm about 75% convinced JVR is going to be traded for pennies on the dollar, and it will be a trade the Flyers regret. The damage will be immeasurable, immense.

I agree.. He is a heck of a player, and would be a great addition, but not for Read and Schenn. Hell Schenn himself might should be a 30-30 guy in the not to far future.
