I can't drink the stuff. I'll have one over ice if we're on a patio and there is literally no beer available, but that's it. Just not my thing - Big_Lightnin

Long time reader but never posted anything until now.
My 2 cents on what the Leafs need to do this offseason.
1) The Leafs have 15.75 MM of bad contracts coming off the books in the next 1 or 2 years. ( Armstrong, Komi, Connolly, Lombardi). So don’t do anything stupid
2) No Lu. His contact could end up being something stupid. If the Leafs were close and a goalie were the last piece then Ok but they aren’t.
3) Get another young Goalie that could pan out. Harding or Bernier maybe. That way you have 3 shots.. Reimer turns it around, Scrivens keeps getting better or the new young goalie proves he can be a number one. Maybe all fall flat but that is 3 decent chances and only 1 has to work out. If all don’t work out you still aren’t in a horrible contract and can try something else next year.
4) Make a strong offer for Parise
5) If we get Schultz. Move Franson + a pick or prospect for forward help. Someone with some size for 3rd line duty. - D.Lemieux
I agree with what you said, very good comment. I would rather take the gamble on bernier running with bernier, scrivens, and reimer. Add on top of that if we draft oscar dansk as well with our 2nd. Now thats major potential. I strongly believe we will
Sign justin schultz but it would be a miracle if parise came here. If we are going to trade franson, id include our 1st Rounder 2012 for columbus first rounder 2012 to
Draft galchenyuk. And really we dont need another 3rd liner. |

Every year, GM's of teams that have low picks say this.

Magic Hat #9.
Brewed in Vermont, you can get it in various parts of New England (it's in most bars in Boston).
Apricot taste. You will either love it or hate it.
But on a warm day, mmmmmmmm it's good.
- Atomic Wedgie
Have you tried KLB (Kawartha Lakes Brewery)? They have an apricot and raspberry beer. Like you say, it's a acquired taste for that type of beer. Tastey in the summer, I'd place it with Hoegaarten. |
