I don't see him slipping past Carolina. They love themselves some Kitchener boys.

And Rutherford/Burke/Holmgren are the only GMs to go see Kitchener live this year.

He won't slip. I have him low in my list, but high in my mock.

would he play wing with Canes or would he play center?

Just curious about why you think they would take Girgensons over Collberg.

They definitely need a centre, and one with size. But after Iggy they have nothing on RW as well.

On the mark Brian. If Flames can score one of Jirgensen, Faska or Ceci, then we will be very very happy. Hope 1 of them fall to us. Also hope we can parlay Kipper or Iggy or JBO into even another 10th to 15 1st rounder & maybe score 2 of those 3 & then maybe we can get some credibility back into our cupboards.

Why not go after Radulov, if the cap hit isnt bad he might get some chemistry with Cerevenka, who cares if he's a bit of a head case. Short term deal might not be all that bad.

Centers are more important, IMO. If I'm staring at a PPG center or a PPG winger, I take the center and run. Teams build down the middle tend to win.

Also, Girgensons is the type of guy who's game really could be suited to the wing or down the middle. He has the net drive and shot from the wing, but also has that bulldozing two-way center mentality.

How does that work. I thought the Preds could still trade his rights & another team could resign him before July 1. I really dont understand all the goofy rules of the KHL anyway.

The KHL can trade his KHL rights all they want-- he can decide to go back or stay here.

I agree about your 3 prospects. If we get any of Faksa, Ceci, or Girgensons, I'm going to be pretty thrilled.

I'm also on board for a Radulov contract. We need game-changing skill, and a guy like Radulov has that...

yup, sounds like what they need. Some size is whats needed to play with baert, gaudreau down the road. And ferland is probably going to peak at 3rd line.

wish we had a 2nd, or could send granlund+ to Minny for Coyle

***nice to have Gelinas back in town as Asst coach
