The Devils are being humiliated, loving every minute of it. New Jersey is by far the most boring team to watch in the NHL and they are getting taken to school.

Fingers crossed for Murray

If it wasn't for JT an hammer I think the BPsT could give the isles a run for their money

I think with the Rangers, Penguins, and Devils making the playoffs... it shows how tough it is for the Isles during the season.

But... look @ the Kings. Another team that built through the draft, and made some key trades with all their prospects.

The rebuild works.

Penguins... Blackhawks.... Kings.... Isles??????

Who is going to be Bridgeports coach this year?
- Cptmjl

who knows, it should be Thompson, but the rumors are not confirmed about him being 1 of the assistants to Cappy,
He's done a good job in yr 1, an prob could do a better job next year especially with better/more talent then ever so far.....

As for Sundstrom....1 goal in the major league in Sweden.....at his age, he probably played half the minutes that Niederreiter played here.......at least they COULD send him down, instead having the stupid rules we have in North America....

In February you could have gotten Staal, Penner, Martinez for cheap...Brown was on the block...and now the Kings are Stanley Cup Champions...

Bingo, until the Isles are a strong team that UFA players want to sign with, they should build through the draft IMO
- Symba007

You cannot build a winner soley through the draft. Dean Lombardi was hired as GM of the Kings around the same time as Snow was made isles GM in 2006. Yes the Kings have drafted some key players, but it was the additions of Richards, Carter, Gagne, etc etc. The Kings are the perfect example.........drafted well, and sprinkled in top players through trades. The isles started the rebuild the same year, and have yet to make the playoffs.

Seems to me a trade this year, is a must. Garth needs to stop hiding behind the "rebuild" and make a move. Noone is saying to dump all the prospects, but the next step are adding legit vets. The only way they can do that is through trades.

The best part of watching game six has been getting to look at the blond in camera shot everytime they show Deboer on the Devils' bench.

Is it true that Lombardi turned down the Isles GM job before Smith?

Alright new strategy proposal for Garth; find two bestfriend teammate hockey players who like to drink and slack off, trade for them both and them next year win the cup

Boy does it suck to be jack Johnson...

If I remember right he did not like idea of the committee and not calling the shots. I cannot imagine why? Looks like he ended up just fine.

The guy is awesome. He reminds me of a Rod Langway type.
