But ask yourself if your Chicago, do you do that deal? - MJL
I think their getting back a solid group.
Mez can definately step in and play. They add a very good winger in JvR. They get another 1st rounder (pick #20). Thats not a bad offer at all. This would allow them to move Kane if they like. They then could go out and get a true #1 goalie. I don't know if they consider Seabrook untouchable (willing to find out though) but I think thats a reasonable offer (they could add other things to make it work). |

I agree, it's a solid offer. But I think that Seabrooke is a true #1. And he's signed to a solid deal for 3 or 4 more Seasons. Seabrooke can play in all situations, can provide points, has a nasty physical game, blocks a lot of shots. If Suter had the same game as Seabrooke does. I'd say screw Carle and let's sign Seabrooke at what ever it takes.
So I don't know how eager Chicago would be to part with that well rounded of a defenseman.

I completely agree but I think its worth a call if I'm Homer. The worse that happens is Chicago says "No, hes not available". |

It's always worth a call. But if I'm Chicago, I'm not trading Seabrooke unless I'm blown away by the offer. And although that's a nice offer, I don't think it will accomplish that. |

Always.
I know Jsaquella said he heard something about Chicago maybe making some big changes. So you never know unless you call and find out.

I do like the deal you put out on the table. Like it has been stated many a time, this offseason could be wacky taffy |

Homer evaluates a NEED and attacks it. Thats the way the Flyers organization does things. They dont sit on their hands and wait patiently not their M.O. I expect something to happen this summer. |

Oh I agree 100 percent. Holmgren will look at all possible avenues to address the situation. I really do think Bob will be traded during the draft, but thats just me. |

I think Bob will be gone also. The Flyers organization seems to have lost some faith in Bob. If they truely believed in him I dont think they would of signed Bryz to that huge contract last summer. I would try to get something for him at the draft but I wouldnt just give him away either. |

Don't forget that Schenn's cap hit will actually be about half that once he doesn't meet the requirement of playing 25 minutes in every game.

FWIW, Eklund has Flyers in front on Gregory Campbell of the Bruins. If that's right, hopefully it's to get a favorable review from the league when necessary. I kid, but if that panned out, where would he fit? |

his signing would preclude the slater signing and i guess that would move talbot to 4th line center and campbell would play on talbot's wing |

I would do it. To me g coots and schenner are untouchable. Schenn had a rough year but it was his first season he is gonna be a beast No way would I give him up |

Personally I think it would take more. There will be multiple teams bidding for Weber if he becomes available. Just my opinion of course. |

We're talking about an elite defenseman in his prime. It cost a lot to get an old Pronger. Weber would/is going to fetch a ridiculous amount for the Preds. |

Seems like a fair trade and the 2013 draft class is supposed to be deep. But is the flyers resign jags and carle I don't think they will be doin much unless it's a trade |
