No, I don't put much faith in +/- myself... I actually don't hate Komi. I feel like he's had good stretches, but that's the thing, they're stretches. I wish he could be more consistent, that being said if Burke can get a return for him. By all means, I won't complain...

I'm refuting the idea that the only thing wrong with Komi was he broke his arm last year.

He was awful two years ago when his arm was good and healthy.

Even IF Komisarek was a healthy scratch it wasn't due to poor play as you are alluding to, it was due to the fact that he was recovering from a significant injury and given the Leafs' depth on D having the luxury of 8 NHL calibre d-men, there was no need to rush him back early so that he could fully and properly heal.

If you don't like Komisarek that's one thing, just say so, but don't try to spin bullpoop to support a weak arguement.

He's poop. Maybe... MAYBE we unload him the year his contract is up at the deadline for a team looking for depth/bit of sandpaper on the backend, but he's just really really horrible. Brian Campbell? Solid offensive D, really bad contract, but still movable because he didn't have a negative impact on the team, but Komi brings nothing to the table.
