Jacques Martin was quite possibly the only person in that entire organization who had an inkling of what he was doing. - dt99999
Let's not get carried away here......
Mr. Gervais is doing an incredible job managing the players equipments. |

Printing Gill's mug on a couple of cases of Ex is pretty awesome. - _nay_
best part:
The prevailing sentiment is that the Canadiens have turned an important corner in their rebuilding with the hiring of Marc Bergevin as general manager to replace Pierre Gauthier. The Gauthier era was confounding, to say the least. What was your take on it?
(Almost 15 minutes of Gill’s reply was off the record. What follows was on the record.) |

Article 16 of the bill furthermore declares illegal for demonstrations of more than 50 people, at any location in Quebec, unless the dates, times, starting point, and routes of those locations and also the duration of the venue and the means of transportation that will be used by participants, if applicable, have been submitted to and approved by Quebec police
I am a bit suprised that it has taken so long for Quebec to do this.

It only makes sense, but you know sometimes you have that spur of the moment reaction to gather 50 people and riot hold a rally.
And that has now been deemed illegal by the oppresive governement

It's kinda like fireamrs in the US, it would a good thing to take it away, but most people scream it's a freedom guaranted in the constitution. |

But all they have to do is make one phone call and say we are holding a rally here from this time to that time.
Pretty sure other provinces have to do this.

Yup this dictatorship has installed this law to protect the nonprotesters. How dare they consider them just because their windows get smashed and cars set on fire. |

It also says that one person has to be responsible for the actions of a group. So, if I'm the organizer, and one or two people decide to start throwing stuff and make trouble, I'm responsible for them and could receive a fine that goes from 7000$ to 35000$.
No one can be held accountable for the actions of 50+ people...this is ridiculous. The government is trying to mute the population, and this law is causing prejudice to the right to manifest, and the right to association. This bubble is going to burst into Charest's face sooner or later.
That being said, I'm not on the side of students, but I'm not on the side of Charest's corrupt government either. I just think they should do a cleanup in their own backyard before throwing the bill to the students, or the population (like they are doing with the healthcare). |
