good blog,
I think at his age, we can't expect that much more from Desharnais, if he can put up 60-65 pts consistantly, I'd be very happy |

Another 60pts season for DD would be good IMO. If Cole and Pacs can stay healthy and score another 30goals each next season, it will happen. |

I was surprised, didn't expect that from him, I was one of those who questioned his capacity to stay in the NHL and produce. He proved my wrong big time. |

To Vancouver : Duncan Keith , Patrick Sharp and Corey Crawford(to back up Schneider)
To Chicago : Luongo and Kesler .
Both teams get better and both still have cap space. - mrpaulish
I feel this may be one of the best blockbusters ever proposed on HB...
Guess which team's fan proposed it. |

Desharnais is a gem at the price we pay for him. I have mixed feelings about the long term plan because of his size. Ideally, we would form a good top line of Pleks and two real top six forwards, and with DD as the 2C his size is less of an issue.
On another note, I hope we pick up a RHD who can play top 4 minutes for a couple of years while the young guys are given a real opportunity to develop. Dennis Wideman comes to mind.
Subban-Gorges
Markov-Wideman
Diaz-Emelin
St.Denis-Weber
In a couple of years, the prospects replace Markov, Wideman and Diaz. |
