I`ve noticed a trend, the more northern countries are tough (Germany, Netherlands, England, Ireland) while many of the southern places dive 24/7. Balkans being the exception to the rule.

True, but Serie A is one of if not the hardest league to score in, and all the best Italians save a handful are there, it's not by prancing around that a league is recognized for its fierce defenses. I know they have a reputation for diving, but they can play rough too.

I'm no fan of 0-0 games despite being a defensive enthusiast, but if you know what to look for you'll enjoy the game, each sport requires a different mindset to play, same goes for watching.
