I hear ya, but that lets Wang off the hook for 8 years of ownership, six of which he left Milbury in place for despite the fact that Milbury wrecked the team for years prior to Wang buying it. Again, my frustration is more with ownership, past and present, than Snow. Snow has done some things good, some bad, some insignificant. He has his hands tied to an extent. But ownership has consistently failed this team and fanbase for decades.

The chances the Isles trade out of 1st round is very slim, and above all, would only trade for someone locked into a contract who is young. PK is a RFA, so within the realm of possibility but here is the problem...

Isles have yet to trade ANY rebuild chip. de Haan is projected to be a possible #2 dman. Montreal could get much better return if PK was to be shopped.

I think that will change this year. As you talked about and we talk about often in these comment sections this is a pretty important year for Snow. If once again he is unable to attract a high end UFA to play for the Isles (.. um.. er.. imminent). He will have to trade for a player and give up something for a top tier D-man. It will have to be a young player who is either locked up for a while or is a RFA.. etc. Subban makes sense b/c he is only 23, is JT 's friend, and Montreal is sick of his act. DeHaan is somewhet expendable b/c of his injury issues.... anyone else that would fit that bill?

That is pretty ironic since we were talking about Subban trade on here yesterday. The trade we talked about yesterday was PK and Gomez (and his shtty contract) for DeHaan, Grabner and a pick. that makes a bit more sense.

When did Subban become Shea Weber? The 4th by itself MAY be acceptable for Subban. The z4th AND players/high end prospects for Subban is absurd. Its even worse if you throw that bum Gomez and his absurd contract into the mix.

1. Peyton Manning will not play for the year.. .at least 3 months before everyone else
2. Reyes is signing with the Marlins.... 3 weeks before rest of world.
3. Peyton to Broncos
4. jets get Tebow...

Some guys hate him... don't really care. I follow the guy b/c he is right a lot. He usually gets destroyed when he puts stuff out and then turns out to be right.

Not sure if I posted that.. but I think in a straight up trade I would make that move. PK is that good and ready to play. In the bigger trade Scenario I was thinking Second or 3rd round pick with Grabner and Dehaan for the record.

disagree....you cant tell me that a 4th overall PROSPECT pick is more valuable than a top pairing ESTABLISHED dman...especially when the defensive department leaguewide is sparse.

if isles want JUST subban it would have to be #4 + prospect or player......flip it, if isles had subban and habs had 4th pick, would u trade subban for 4th overall? i wouldnt...

I have no skin in the game with I-bob. I don't know him.. never met him and could really care less. He is right quite often though... and I find it funny how many people hate him... He was destroyed when he put Manning to Denver. Espn writers and Many many others said he was full of crapola and Manning won't play in cold, and going to Tenn.. etc. etc. He was right. Those things were all rumored plenty from legitimate news outlets before they were official. I could do Bob's job just as well. As soon as ESPN started talking about Peyton's possible destinations, it was pretty obvious Denver was the front -runner. "OK everyone Peyton is going to the Broncos" Oh look I was right, and if I wasn't, "my source told me Peyton's wife didn't like the high altitude and he made a last minute decision to go to ____" It's not hard to bullsh!t lies like that when you have "anonymous sources".
