no. because ironically while guys aren't getting paid in the post-season, by playing well and extending the playoffs they are making their teams millions more.

Savard has a hug cap hit of 4 mil, I'm sure if he gets a brain transplant and is healthy to return, the Bruins will be able to find the room for him without having to sacrifice Seguin

Toronto only slightly... No one has crippling contracts, just large ones compared to their skill level ex. Komi + Lombardi both around 4-5 million. Not like it's 7-9 million like some teams. Toronto can survive without the Salary dump. 1 more year and I believe those contracts are off the books anyway.
